Does De Boemerang receive any funds?

No, all our income comes from our store and recycling revenues.

What is the objective of De Boemerang?

We try to help as many people as possible, with a distance from the labor market.

Through training and education, De Boemerang creates an opportunity for many people on the labor market: from (social) internships for secondary school students and MBO to a learning workshop for people in psychological care to promote reintegration.

Our second objective is the recycling of goods (sustainability). We are grateful to the residents of Amstelveen and the surrounding area for their massive input of their stuff at De Boemerang. The fact that we can make the waste mountain much smaller through your contribution of usable goods may of course be clear. More info can be found on the ‘About us’ page

What happens to the profits of De Boemerang?

De Boemerang is a foundation, this means that our results are spent within the company.

Does De Boemerang also have a delivery service?

De Boemerang also delivers goods! For more information you can look at ‘Bringing Goods & Pickup Service’.

Does De Boemerang also collect goods?

We collect goods for FREE in Amstelveen, Ouderkerk a/d Amstel, Nes a/d Amstel and Amsterdam-Buitenveldert.

  • Articles must be undamaged, complete and clean.
  • The pick-up address must be located in Amstelveen, Ouderkerk a / d Amstel, Nes a / d Amstel or Amsterdam Buitenveldert.
  • The items must be on the ground floor or there must be a usable lift.
  • The driver ultimately determines what is and what is not taken to our stores.
Can I get a discount at De Boemerang?

We do not grant discounts on our products, customers with Amstelveenpas receive a 20% discount with the exception of luxury items such as computers, flat screen TVs and articles in the display-cases.

Can I have a drink at De Boemerang?

You can buy a cup of coffee at the Maalderij & Binderij.

What kind of goods can I bring?

Goods that you no longer use and that are still in good condition and usable are welcome at Kringloop De Boemerang.

Where can I bring my goods?

Bringing of your goods is only possible at the Maalderij 8, behind the store, there is sufficient parking space. This is possible from Monday to Friday from 9:30 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Do I have a guarantee on my purchased goods?

De Boemerang gives 3 days warranty on electronic equipment on presentation of the receipt and the price sticker on the purchased product. There is no guarantee for the other products.

How can I pay at De Boemerang?

We accept debit-card and cash, our preference goes to debit-card payments for the safety of our employees.
